Jose Tomas Villanueva was born at Camargo on December 21, 1851 the eighth child of twelve children born to Narciso de Jesus Villanueva and Maria de Jesus Senona Hidalgo. Bernada Timotea Garcia Pineda was born at Camargo on August 22, 1851 to Jose Maria De La Merced Garcia Acosta and Maria De Los Rayes Vicenta Pineda Lunares.
On February 27, 1875 Jose Tomas Villinueva and Bernada Timotea Garcia Pineda were united in marriage at the Santa Rosalia mission.
